Clozely turns reading into remembering. You open a textbook, a slide deck, or a webpage inside the app and read the way you normally would. When a sentence matters, you drag across it with the highlighter and it becomes a flashcard. Inside that highlight, you drag again over the words you want hidden, and each drag becomes a cloze blank you’ll be quizzed on later. When you finish reading, one click sends the whole deck to Anki.

Does Clozely replace Anki?
No. Clozely is for making cards, and Anki is still where you review them.
What can I make cards from?
PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and any website you can open in the built-in web tab. With Clozely AI Pro you can also drop in a lecture recording, audio or video, and Clozely turns it into a study doc where every line cites the moment it was said. You can do all of that in the same app.
Do I have to use the AI?
No. You don't need AI to highlight text and make cards. AI drafting is an optional plan for when you want a first pass over the material.
Is any of the AI free?
Every new account gets a one-time sample of Clozely AI: 50 AI-drafted cards and one lecture turned into a study doc. No expiration date. After that, AI is available through a monthly plan or one-time packs.
